Careers
Our company combines the stability of a government-designated testing organization with the flexibility of a foreign-owned business.
GLI Japan Attraction
As a testing organization designated by the National Public Safety Commission, we play a critical role in testing amusement machines that manufacturers must pass before introducing new products to the market.
Ensuring Compliance
To ensure players can enjoy machines with confidence, the law establishes detailed rules and standards for machine specifications. We verify whether a machine complies with these regulations by reviewing design documents, cross-checking specifications, and conducting physical tests. Only machines that pass these tests are approved for sale and installation.
As part of the global GLI Group, we strive to create a work environment where employees can thrive long-term without unnecessary stress. Our team includes professionals from a wide range of industries.
Global Company with Offices Worldwide

I test whether the software is built in line with legal regulations, and I feel the most fulfilled when I finally manage to do something I couldn’t before. Job hunting doesn’t always go smoothly, but I hope you stick with it and give it your best shot. That way, you’ll have no regrets!”

“I decided to work for GLI Japan because I believe my role has significant social impact through testing gaming machines. I was drawn to the high level of professionalism required in this field.
Although the company is a testing body and has a structured, disciplined environment, I’ve been enjoying my work—especially because most of my colleagues are around the same age as me (the majority in the testing bureau are in their 20s to early 30s). I’m part of the software team for slot machines, and I feel highly motivated to identify fun and engaging game elements for players by analyzing the programming and code.”

I find it deeply rewarding to play a key role in ensuring that only safe and compliant gaming machines are released into the world. “I decided to accept the job offer from GLI Japan because the employee benefits and responsibilities are well balanced. We have fixed holidays every weekend – both Saturday and Sunday – and flexible work shifts, which I really appreciate. I also value the ability to take time off without stress or guilt. Unlike some companies in Japan, I don’t have to worry about coordinating with other team members or being affected by my boss’s mood. I’d also recommend our team’s atmosphere, including our supervisors. Everyone is cheerful and collaborative, which makes it a great place to work.
